Cancellation and Refunds Policy

Effective Date: March 03, 2023

At ColArt Print, we take pride in delivering high-quality custom printed products. Because most products are custom manufactured specifically for each order, certain limitations apply regarding cancellations, returns, and refunds.

All cancellation or refund requests must be submitted in writing via email. Our Customer Service Team will review the request and respond within up to fourteen (14) business days. Any applicable charges will depend on the current production status of the order.
 

By placing an order with ColArt Print, the customer acknowledges
and agrees to the policies described below.

 

1. ORDER CANCELLATION PRIOR TO APPROVAL

Customers may request to cancel an order before final proof approval.

If work has already begun on the order, certain labor or administrative
fees may apply, including but not limited to:

 

  • Graphic design services

  • Proof preparation

  • File setup and prepress work

  • Administrative processing

  • Payment processing fees

Cancellation Fee:
15% – 30% of the total order amount.

Minimum cancellation fee: $15.

These fees will be deducted from any refund issued.

 

2. CANCELLATION AFTER APPROVAL BUT BEFORE PRODUCTION

If a cancellation request is made after the customer has approved
the final proof but before printing has started, ColArt Print may
approve the cancellation with applicable fees.

Cancellation Fee:
1% – 10% of the total order amount.

Minimum cancellation fee: $10.

For credit card payments exceeding $5,000, payment
processing fees may exceed the stated percentages.

 

3. CANCELLATION AFTER PRODUCTION HAS BEGUN

Once an order has been sent to production, printing has started,
or materials have been prepared, the order cannot be cancelled.

Because all products are custom produced, refunds are not available once production begins.

In some cases, shipping charges may be refundable, if applicable.
 

4. EXPEDITED PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING

All charges related to rush production, expedited printing,
or expedited shipping are non-refundable.

If an order must be returned for any reason, the customer must:

  • Return 100% of the product

  • Ship the product within 15 days of receipt

  • Cover all return shipping costs
     

5. ORDERS PLACED ON HOLD

Orders may be placed on hold due to:

  • Missing files

  • File errors

  • Payment issues

  • Pending proof approvals

  • Missing order information

Orders will remain on hold for up to two (2) weeks.

If ColArt Print does not receive a response within that timeframe,
the order may be automatically cancelled and subject to applicable
cancellation fees described in this policy.

 

6. LOGO AND GRAPHIC DESIGN SERVICES

All logo design, artwork creation, and graphic design services
are non-refundable once work has begun.

This includes:

  • Logo design

  • Branding design

  • Layout creation

  • Custom artwork

  • Design revisions

  • File preparation

Design services represent time-based creative work,
which cannot be reversed once performed.

 

7. CUSTOMER-PROVIDED FILES

ColArt Print prints files exactly as provided by the customer
once final approval is received.

ColArt Print is not responsible for errors contained in
customer-submitted files, including but not limited to:

  • Spelling mistakes

  • Grammar errors

  • Incorrect dimensions

  • Layout issues

  • Image resolution problems

  • Color choices

  • Missing bleed or margins

Once printing begins using customer-provided files, refunds or cancellations are not available.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all proofs before approval.
 

8. FINAL SALE POLICY

Due to the custom nature of printed products, all orders are considered final sale once production begins.

Refunds or credits are generally not issued for custom printed products.

If ColArt Print determines that a production error occurred on our part, we will correct the issue by reprinting the order at no additional cost.
 

9. DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS

ColArt Print takes every step to ensure that each order meets our quality standards. If you believe your order contains a manufacturing defect or production damage, you must notify ColArt Print within ten (10) business days of receiving your order.

All claims must be submitted in writing via email and must include the following information:

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Clear photographs showing the defect or damage

  • Photographs of the full product and packaging (when applicable)

This information allows our team to properly evaluate the claim.

Once a claim is submitted, our Customer Service and Production Teams will review the request and respond within up to fourteen (14) business days.

To qualify for a replacement:

  • The customer must return 100% of the defective items

  • The items must be unused and in their original condition

  • Returns must be shipped within fourteen (14) days from the delivery date

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

Returned items must be securely packaged to prevent additional damage during shipping.

Failure to return the entire order or failure to return the items within the required timeframe may result in the claim being denied.

Once the returned items are received and the issue is verified by our quality control team, ColArt Print will produce a replacement reprint at no additional printing cost. The reprint will be produced using the same artwork, specifications, and materials as the original order.

The following situations do not qualify as defects:

  • Errors in customer-supplied artwork

  • Spelling or grammar mistakes in approved proofs

  • Color differences between digital screens and printed materials

  • Minor variations in trimming, alignment, or finishing within industry printing tolerances

  • Damage caused after delivery

  • Improper handling or storage

ColArt Print reserves the right to determine whether a product qualifies as defective and whether a reprint or alternative solution is appropriate.

Claims submitted after the 10-business-day notification period may not be eligible for review or replacement.
 

10. AGREEMENT TO POLICIES

By placing an order with ColArt Print, whether online, in person, by phone, or by email, the customer confirms that they have reviewed and accepted the Terms, Privacy Policy, Return Policy, and Refund Policy.
 

These policies are publicly available and accessible to all customers. It is the customer’s responsibility to review and understand these policies prior to placing an order.
 

ColArt Print is not responsible for any issues arising from failure to review or comply with these policies.
